Just me and Amber for knitting this time around. We watched Next with Nick Cage and Mr. Fix it. Both great films. Funny though, Amber had just come from seeing National Treasure book of secrets so she'd seen quite a bit of Nick that day. Still I suppose you can never really get enough of Mr. Cage. He's such an odd character but still, all kinds of tasty, If no one minds my saying so. Oh and I must say, Mr. Fix it was a full on surprise, it truly showcased both the good and bad sides of men. At the begining you're thinking it's just going to be another male oriented raunchy romp, then it turns out to have real heart and soul. Best and most inspired scene in the whole film right here...

My first sideways knit, and my first time working with raw silk. It's not quite finished yet but I think it's coming along well. Amber is working on a lovely little ascot type scarf as well, though I forgot to take pics last meeting (slaps self on head). Ah well, I'll be sure to get a pic of it soon. ;)
